Class Expectations

Upon entering the room, get out the necessary materials (pencil, science notebook, textbook, etc) and begin your Starter Question. When the bell rings, you should be in your seat completing your entry task. If finished early with a task, quietly (and without distracting others) work on another assignment, study, read a book, or draw  (wandering the room/visiting is not an option).

Student Expectations:

• Show respect to everyone and our classroom.

• Arrive to class prepared (with all materials) and on time every day.

• Take careful notes and participate in class discussions and projects.

• Write down all assignments. Assignments and due dates will be posted in the

classroom on the board.

• READ and STUDY each assigned chapter at home. Usually students will be

assigned questions at the end of each section.

• Work hard, responsibly, and honestly.

• Follow all directions, safety rules, and management procedures.

• HAVE FUN. By following the previous expectations, we can all work together and

make science fun!

2. Keep work area clean and uncluttered.
